# 🪔 DIWALI 2026 – AN ISR SPECIAL! 🪔 **Six Letters. Six Experiences. One Unforgettable Celebration!** Namaste everyone! 🙏 After our wonderful Navratri celebrations, it's time to come together again for another beautiful festival — **Diwali, the Festival of Lights!** ✨ This year, we're planning something a little different — more interactive, more surprises, and most importantly, a celebration of the wonderful talent, traditions and spirit within our community. ## 🎤 Calling All Performers – Young and Old! Can you sing, dance, play an instrument, recite a poem, perform a magic trick, tell a story, make people laugh or showcase any other creative talent? **We would love to see YOU on stage!** 🌟 And parents, please encourage your children to participate, even if they have never performed before. **Don't overthink the nomination!** 😊 We're not looking for professional performers or perfect performances. We want to give everyone, especially our children, an opportunity to try something new, build confidence and overcome stage fright from an early age. A one-minute performance from a first-timer is just as special as a polished group performance! Solo, family and group performances are all welcome. **So come forward, nominate yourself or your children, and let's celebrate the courage to participate!** 👏 ## 🎉 What's Special About Diwali This Year? This year, we've designed our celebration around the six letters of **D-I-W-A-L-I**. Each letter represents a unique experience, bringing together memories, laughter, creativity, talent, traditions and togetherness. **But what exactly do these six letters stand for?** 🤔 Well, that's a surprise we're saving for the evening! What we can promise is an evening filled with: ✨ Fun and interactive experiences for the whole family 🎤 Wonderful performances by children and adults 🎁 Surprises, laughter and exciting prizes 🪔 A beautiful celebration of light and togetherness 💃 Bollywood music and dancing 🍽️ Delicious vegetarian snacks and a festive Indian dinner ✨ A sparkling outdoor finale for families to enjoy together, subject to venue approval and safety arrangements And perhaps a few more surprises along the way! 😉 **This isn't just an evening to sit back and watch — it's a celebration where everyone can be part of the experience!** ## 📅 Event Details 📍 **Venue:** Sunde/Kvernevik Bydelshus & Fritidssenter 🗓️ **Date:** Saturday, 21 November 2026 🕓 **Time:** 16:00–21:00 🎟️ **Limited Capacity:** Maximum 400 participants ## 👨👩👧👦 Registration & Guest Policy As capacity is limited, **ISR members and their families will receive first priority**. A maximum of **100 guest places** may be made available, subject to remaining capacity. Guest invitations are intended exclusively for relatives and close friends of ISR members. ### 🎟️ Guest Registration – Preferred Through Vipps - **Guest Fee:** NOK 200 per guest (6yrs or above). Free for those 5 years or below. - **Payment Method:** **Vipps Preferred** with Vipps Number: **88506**. Guest registrations processed through Hoopla cost a higher NOK 220 per guest. - **Payment Message:** Please write **"Diwali 2026 – [Full names of all guests]"** when making the payment through VIPPS. - **Check-in:** Please retain your Vipps payment receipt and present it at the entrance for verification. - **Refund Policy:** All guest payments are final and **non-refundable**, including cancellations and no-shows. **Important:** Guest registrations are subject to availability and the maximum event capacity. Please confirm that guest registration is open before making a payment. ### ⚠️ Member Cancellation & No-Show Policy We understand that plans can change. However, as ISR makes arrangements for catering and other event expenses based on confirmed registrations, we kindly request members to register responsibly. 📅 **Last Date for Cancellation: Tuesday, 17 November 2026, at 09:00 CET.** - Members may cancel their registrations until the above deadline without incurring a no-show fee. - **After the cancellation deadline, a no-show fee (NOK 200) will apply to registered members who do not attend the event.** - The no-show fee helps ISR recover costs associated with confirmed but unused registrations. 🙏 We request all members to cancel before the deadline if they are unable to attend, allowing other families on the waiting list to participate. **Registration will close once all available places are filled or at 21:00 CET on 16 November 2026, whichever comes first..** --- Above all, let's make this a celebration where everyone feels welcome, appreciated and part of something special.
