tirsdag 24. november kl. 18:00 · Yeast, Oslo
If your life was an album, what would the cover look like? We're taking over Yeast, one of the coolest spots in Oslo, for an evening of music, creativity, good drinks and even better company. The idea is simple: you'll get your own 7-inch vinyl record to transform into a little piece of art using magazine cutouts, colours, words and whatever inspires you. Imagine your life as an album. What would you call it? What would the cover look like? Make it funny, nostalgic, dramatic, abstract or just something you think looks really cool. There are no rules, and absolutely no artistic experience needed. Before we start creating, I've prepared a series of playful conversation prompts for you to explore with the people around your table. Through questions about your personality, memories, dreams and the little things that make you you, we'll discover more about each other while finding inspiration for our own album covers. Think of it as a little creative experiment: getting to know someone new while getting to know yourself a little better, too. Your answers might reveal a colour, a mood, a word or an unexpected idea that becomes the starting point for your artwork. And if you'd rather make something completely abstract? That's just as welcome. YOUR TICKET INCLUDES -A 7-inch vinyl record to decorate and take home -All collage and crafting materials (cutting mat, metal ruler, glue, magazines, stickers, scissors, craft paper) -Guided conversation prompts to spark ideas and connections -Music and good vibes from Riant behind the DJ deck -A creative evening with a lovely community of people who love trying new things and making the most of Oslo -Drinks and pizza are available to purchase separately. Come alone or bring a friend! Wildcard is all about making it easier to meet new people, discover new interests and create memories together, and I´ll make sure everybody switches seats so you meet everyone! We'll be cutting, pasting, chatting, listening to music and getting to know the people around us. Come for the workshop. Stay for the company. Leave with your own little art piece and new friends!
